Up for NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT 4 wheel drive 4 door with 7 passenger seating, it has the third seat. It is white on black and is in excellent. The vehicle has 125720 miles as of 12/25 and is being driven daily. It has a 4.0L engine mated to a 5 speed automatic. It has power windows, power locks, dual power mirrors and a power driver's seat. Additional options include front/rear heat and ice cold air conditioning. It has an onboard trip computer that tells you the temperature, miles per gallon, gallons to empty, trip distance, and trip time. It has a Sony aftermarket stereo with a remote which lights up green to match the dash. It has a phono stereo input and a USB input to play your audio device. IPods can be hooked up to the USB and played through the stereo. I have 3 programmed chip keys and 1 programmed remote (2nd remote unprogrammed). The push button 4 wheel drive works properly, no issues. There are no trouble lights on the dash or trouble codes in the system. The front and rear A/C blow ice cold and work properly. All power locks, windows, and mirrors work properly. When I bought this truck in October of 2009 it had 112,000 miles on it. The dealer had performed repairs to the vehicle that included steering and suspension work, and a new alternator. Since I have owned it, I had the coolant flushed/serviced, transmission flushed/serviced by Ford, two new Ford wheel berrings installed, and a new Sears Die Hard Gold battery installed. Over the summer I installed 4 new Cooper tires at a cost of about $600 and had the vehicle aligned. The tires have less than 5,000 miles on them and are in excellent condition. This vehicle is smooth, quiet, and drives straight as an arrow going down the road. There are no rattles or unusual noises. The engine runs smooth with no leaks and the transmission shifts as it should. The brakes are also in excellent shape. The body is in excellent condition with the exception of a scratch or nick here and there. You would never know judging by the interior or exterior that this vehicle has 125,000 miles on it. One notable paint flaw that you can't see from eye level is the roof is starting to peel as shown in the picture. I suppose you can leave it, but I would brush some paint on or have the roof repainted....am leaving this up to the new owner. Also, the front bumber shows some wear and touch up from a few small scratches. In November, the vehicle just passed the strict MA State inspection. They check emissions, onboard diagnostis, and jack up the front end and check steering/suspension components. I noticed the car check revealed an odometer discrepancy and accident. If you look closely at the dates and mileages on the car fax you can see that the mileage was recorded incorrectly on one occasion...all other dates and mileage entries ARE consistent over the life of the vehicle. As far as an accident, I checked the vehicle over and found no evidence that this vehicle was ever in an accident. All panels match properly and paint shines high gloss as from the factory. I have downsized my transportation business and no longer need this vehicle. A $500 REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close.
