Vehicle Detail
I've had the Cutlass for 5 years. It's originally a Georgia vehicle and the owner I bought it from lived in Texas at the time of purchase. This Cutlass is semi-restored with a solid body. The car's original color is viking blue. All electrical works, headlights and fog lights work, taillights work, turning signals work, drum brakes all around operate in excellent condition. Wanted to put disc brakes but never had a chance. The dashboard is in good condition - all gauges work. The car operates in excellent condition. Condition of Cutlass: Right now, I have it primer gray, ready to be painted, but it got put off and sat in my garage for a year. It needs a windshield because in the process of removing the stainless trim, I cracked the windshield. I still have the rear windshield as seen in picture. It still has the rear quarter glass on the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. The driver and passenger side doors have no glass windows.Floors pans and trunk are solid. Carpet, interior door panels, rear interior panels need to be replaced .one right headlight lense is also cracked. The headliner is in good condition, but there is a tear in the front passenger side, so it needs replacing also. The Cutlass has a 1970 455 cutlass block (396021F) with the high compression C heads. ARP bolts are one this motor. This drivetrain has over $6000 that I invested in it. The heads have been mildly ported and polished. The intake manifold is an Aluminum Dual Plane Offenhauser with Dual Carter Competition carburetors. It has roller rockers, racing push rods , comp cam and comp lifters, flat top pistons, high volume oil pump, hooker competition headers,21/2 exhaust running to super 40 flowmasters firing downward, an Eagle crank, MSD6AL box,Stage 2 rev limiter, Hurst Competition line lock, close ratio M-21 Muncie 4-speed with hurst shifter...recently had the linkage adjusted so it shifts excellent and smooth. It has a centerforce clutch, aluminum drive shaft, and bulletproof Ford 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. 12 gallon Fuel cell in trunk. Holley Fuel Pump with Mallory Filter, fuel regulator, Autometer fuel gauge isolator. The rims are 17 x 9 Torque thrust aluminum American Racing Rims all the way around. This Cutlass is an excellent for a nearly completed project. Ive never ran this vehicle down the track or dogged it . Nearly completed project that won't take much to finish.
