1985 Chevy Caprice Classic Estate Wagon with only 73,000 LOW MILES!! **Previous deceased elderly owner** LOW RESERVE!!!!! COSMETICS--EXTERIOR: NO visible rust, looks to be the original paint/woodgrain. The paint is ok but shows some fading mostly on the hood. Also, there is some MINOR repairable hail on the hood and the roof. Trim piece between the tailgae and bumper is broken as shown in pics. Small dent near rear door quarter window, as shown in pics. Small slight dent on rear quarter panel. Small area of woodgrain off over rear wheel well opening, as shown. Theres also a variety of light scratches here and there. All in all...not bad for a 26 year old car!! The body is straight, bumpers glass and trim in good shape. COSMETICS--INTERIOR: Very good shape overall. No rips or tears on any of the THREE rows of seats. Carpet is in good shape as well as the dash/pad etc. The headliner has the droops directly above the driver/passenger compartment. Headliner looks good rest of the way back. OPTIONS: 305 V8, AOD transmission. Power windows/locks and front seat. Factory wire caps in good overall condition. It also has a rare factory "fuel miser" guage which is part of the dash cluster. MECHANICAL: The car had been in storage for about two years. I installed a new battery and it started right up!! The car has been driven about 100 miles since and it performs flawlessly. It stops, shifts and sounds outstanding!!! There's no smoke when it starts and only normal oil seepage visible. This is a "fly in---drive it home" kind of car!! The only item I've been unable to check is the AC. However, when the defroster is on the compressor kicks in and out. So, with this being said, the condition of the AC is unknown. THE FINE PRINT: VEHICLE IS SOLD IN AS-IS WHERE IS CONDITION. THERE IS NO WARRANTY.
