For sale is a 1991 Miata which runs really well, is fun to drive, had new tires and brakes installed this past summer (about 6 months ago) and includes a HARD TOP. There is also four additional steel rims with snow tires we have in storage. We just bought a new car and the dealer only wanted to give us $1000 for the car as a trade in and they were going to let me keep the hard top because I know I could sell that alone on eBay for about $600. But, I figured why not sell the hard top with the extra wheels and just throw the rest of the car in. This way I don't have to worry about "selling" the car. Even though, like I said, it runs really well, but you know, it has almost 168,000 miles on it, and the seats are a little ripped, and the plastic window of the rag top is kind of ripped. BUT THE HARD TOP is worth something. The body is in really great shape too. The only thing is that a deer ran up the hood this fall and scuffed the hood a little. When I bought this car about 5 years ago with 87,000, they said it was just re-painted. I would keep it but, I don't have room for 5 cars in the driveway and my wife said enough is enough, go get a big boy car. Plus I am getting a little tired of getting in and out of it, I'm only 52, but you know how it goes. On Dec-21-10 at 07:26:46 PST, seller added the following information: More pictures added. I was wrong about the miles; it has less than 167,000 miles. see pic of odo I also took a picture of a receipt from July 2010 for new tires, brakes , and rotors. This money spent shows the car really does run well or I wouldn't have done this. Previous owner did nice red highlights to the interior. There are no check engine or other service lights lit.The rag top is in good shape except that the rear window was cut away because it was really cracked and yellow. I have clear vinyl in its place for rain days. The rear window can be replaced with a actual Miata rear window replacement for about $150.
