Going...Going...Going....Gone! Don't let these words be the last thing you remember about this auction. This is a vehicle that can fit into anyone's garage or budget. A "completely rebuilt engine" has been installed recently and at a price as low as I'm setting....even if you do nothing else with the car...you're already a winner and all the other goodies are just frosting on the cake. ======================================================================================================================= It needs an owner who enjoys this type of adventure when it comes to restoring a blast from the past. There is some rust that needs attention...and body work will be called for...but the interior is in excellant condition...the roof liner is in great condition...and the completely rebuilt engine is in place...soooo with a little tender loving care...the rest of the vehicle will fall in place nicely. ============================================================================= About the engine It was purchased on eBay about two years ago and arrived in excellant condition. I originally paid $1,300.00 for it and had it installed by my personal mechanic who will verify the engines condition. It was rebuilt at a shop on the east coast (unfortunately I do not know the name) but it had a valve job with reground valves and new valve seals, springs have been shimmed. The block is bored .030 with new pistons and rings, rods and mains were turned .010 with new bearings, new cam, lifters, timing set. The rockers and pushrods are original, freeze plugs and block and head gaskets are new. The carburetor has also been rebuilt. All the machine work has been done, but understand this is sold as is with no warranties. All sales are final, no refunds, so before bidding make sure you are serious about your purchase. The stars of this vehicle are the engine and interior, also the headliner is in excellant condition. Body work, paint, and some chrome needs replacement or rechroming.
