This a Barn Fresh 1971 Honda QA50, QA 50. This little Honda sat in a Barn for 30 + years.This would be a perfect restoration or just tune it up for a daily rider.The number on the Frame is: QA50-1018214The number on the Engine is: QA50E-A A17809I've seen many of these QA50's & I've owned 6-of them now & this is in the best original shape as any of them! The Good:Good Compression.Original stock muffler & exhaust in good condition.Perfectly Straight Handle Bars-They're general bent from kids learning/wrecking them.Ball Bearings in the Triple Tree are still there & work perfect-no slop in the steering.Foot Pegs are still straight & even still have the original Rubbers are them-Pegs are usually bent, broke, re-welded, etc. from wrecking, This little Gem even still has the original kick stand & kick stand spring & the stand isn't bend, broke or re-weled as with most of these.As one picture shows-this even still has the original rubber band that holds the Gas Tank to the Frame-this is unheard of, they're usually dried out-broke-non existent.The Gas Tank inside is nice & not full of rust as they usually are.Even the steering stop is in as new condition (the thing that keeps the handle bars/triple tree from turning too far & denting the gas tank.Last but not least-it even has the ORIGINAL Rubber on the kick starter lever-that shows how little use this Sweet little 50 has had.All B.S. aside, this little Gem is in the best original/unabused/unrestored condition of any QA50 that I've seen in the last 20-years! The Bad:Seat has a couple little cuts in it.Fenders have some cracks in them that has been plastic welded.Shock Boots are dried out as is the brake cable casings. Missing:The Float Bowl & air filter. Overall this is a slightly used & unabused excellent condition, 40-year old-Gem of Honda History.
