For your consideration a 1962 Chevrolet stepside short bed pickup truck. Fresh from a local estate. I am relisting this truck due to a non-paying bidder. The truck is in good condition. It is a great candidate for restoration or street rodding. The body is pretty solid except for a few rust spots. There is rust on the bottom corners of both doors and the rockers. There is also a little rust on the back right corner of the hood and the bottom back corner of the right front fender. The bed and rear fenders are good and solid. The tailgate and wood floor are very nice. There is a small hole in the front panel of the box where something slid forward and poked it. The body is not dented up and the paint is still nice but does have some scratches. The front bumper is good. The truck is solid underneath and not rotted out. The cab floor is pretty solid but does have a couple of small rust holes by each door. The bench seat is good and so is the carpet. The dash has newer gauges. I am not exactly sure what the true mileage is. It also has a newer steering column and wheel. The ignition lock is complete and has its key. It has a B & M automatic three speed shifter on the floor. The doors still close tightly. The roll up windows still work. The back window is cracked but the rest of the glass is good. The front windshield has a very small rock chip. The gas tank is good but the gas cap is missing. The truck comes with matching 15" American Racing aluminum wheels. The tires are lettered and have deep tread. Included is a matching spare wheel and tire. There is no motor. The truck is set up for a small block Chevy and has the proper mounts. It comes with headers and side pipes. It has a good 350 transmission and torque converter mounted in it. I think the rear end has been replaced with a newer one. I was told the transmission and rear end were good and ready to go. The truck has power brakes. The radiator looks good. It also has a transmission cooler. The title number is matching and clear.
