This is a very nice unmolested Vitara, the same as a Geo Tracker. I bought it recently from a broker who got it from a dealer where it was a trade-in. I bought it to drive back and forth to my local YMCA, but it's doubled my insurance so I'm not really saving any money. Therefore, my loss is your gain. I'm still driving it through the auction process so the mileage may vary. It's in remarkable shape with only some wear apparent to the convertible top. The flip up sunroof was used quite a bit so there's some obvious wear at the fold, but it's still water resistant. There is some thread separation near the back of the sunroof section, but again, not an immediate issue. The top itself has been re-stitched in some areas and works correctly. The rear window looks to be a replacement and is very clear. The side vinyl windows are somewhat cloudy. The body is great, a couple dings and a small crease along the passenger side door, which is not readily noticeable. A checkered flag graphic was recently applied to the sides. The interior is spotless except for a small tear in the carpet on the driver's side back near the seat. The upholstery is in great shape, no rips or tears. The remote outside mirrors are not functioning, so just adjust them manually. The passenger side mirror was replaced. I also replaced both inside door handles that were cracked, and a Haynes repair manual will be included. The tires (Tiger Paws) have deep tread depth, and the spare is the original. It starts up, drives straight as an arrow, stops smoothly, shifts are crisp and it has OD for better mileage. All the lights work, gauges all report the correct info, what am I forgetting.....? Oh, when I got it there was an air freshener in the back seat that had been there for awhile so the pleasant odor is a bonus. The engine compartment is spotless. It's the 2.0 engine with plenty of power and a neat little growl. There was some rust on the heat shield that covers the exhaust header, so I steel brushed it and painted it with a rust inhibiting paint. Nothing else has been done. It runs like a Swiss watch. On the warmest days it runs cool and during this cold snap lately it puts out a nice blast of heat in the passenger compartment. Be advised: No A/C! I live in FL where I can remove the top during the summer months and be comfortable, and button it up in the winter and stay warm. This is my second Suzuki. My first I used to drive back and forth to Wyoming every year, and a couple times I stayed through the winter. I plowed through the most awful snow storms w/4-wheel drive, and I put over 125K miles on it without a hiccup. The Vitaras and Trackers I see advertised have 100K miles or more, so you know they can do it, This car has 34000+ miles, so you will get plenty of driving in the years ahead. The MPGs are very good, too. The JX package has the most options, power assisted front disc brakes, airbags, power door locks, power windows, am/fm cassette, power steering, etc. Please ask questions, I don't sell many cars on eBay but I have sold a couple and have bought my last 2 cars here. The folks are friendly and inquisitive, and I'm sure I'm skipping something, so ask and I'll do what I can to provide a timely response. Buyer pays for shipping, or come on down and pick it up.
