We are the third owners of this 1995 E420 Special Edition Benz. The exterior is in spectacular condition and the interior is in very good condition for the age of the car, no tears or rips in the leather or dash. The drivers side head light area was bumped by another car about a year and a half ago and was completely repaired by an amazing body shop in Santa Monica, CA. The transmission is not working and has been in our garage, now ready to sell. This is a California car with no rust. This car drives like a dream once the transmission is in working order again. Here are some answers to the questions I've been getting: reverse is fine, it doesn't shift any higher than second gear rebuilt transmissions seem to be from $1500 to $2500 (in LA) the spot under the car is a little transmission fluid that leaked out, not oil it did not pass it's smog check at the exact same time the transmission went out... the mechanic can get the smog certificate for about $200 or less The drivers inside door handle is loose and the drivers window goes all the way up but stops about a 1/2 an inch from the top There are two door dings on the passenger side other than that, everything is very good. It also has a MBZ multi-cd player in the trunk
