Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. It has 174,xxx miles The truck has the Vortec 8100, 8.1L, 496 cubic inch V8 coupled to the bombproof 4L80E transmission. Rear differential is a 4.10. This driveline yields the highest tow capacity in the suburban lineup at 12,000lbs although people routinely tow well over that with these. I have done 3 oil changes at less than 3k mi. intervals since purchasing it and will be doing a 4th soon. Powertrain is in excellent shape. The truck has tons of power, super smooth, and feels like it just wants to stretch its legs. Has new alternator in it as well as a brand new fuel pump+filter that i just put in 3 weeks ago ($400+ in parts alone) The exterior is white with black painted flares and smooth black side mouldings, unlike standard textured mouldings which don't take to well to painting (should you ever want to paint them white to match). For its age its pretty clean. I purchased it in february this year from the original owner who kept it garaged. The drivers front door has some clear peeling at the top, drivers rear has very minor clear peeling and shows the remains of a pinstripe that was painted over (both can be fixed and negotiated into the price) The wheels are 16x9 American Racing chrome wheels in great shape. I would consider new tires soon, especially for the upcoming winter. Interior is medium gray leather. has heated power front seats. driver side has a rip in the armrest and a small tears on the side from previous owner sliding in. most Suburbans develop this. rear is full 60/40 is very good shape. also has the removable 3rd row. All weather floormatss throughout. rear has a 7" flipdown in a very nice roof mounted unit with integrated rear climate controls. its not factory but certainly looks it. has a vcr under the seat but would be very easy to switch out for DVD since the wiring is the same. I installed a Drawtite ActivatorII trailer brake, that will also be included in the sale. This is the ultimate family/toy hauling vehicle. I wanted a beast that wasn't a pickup, and couldn't jutify $20k+ on a same year diesel excursion. Bought to tow a racecar, but that build never happened and won't for a while feel free to email/message me with any questions
