Vehicle Detail

I am departing with my 7 year project. Over $40,000 invested. This is my 3rd 914 restoraton. Body was professionally stripped and all panels that showed corrosion were replaced. Most of the conversion was done by "Road Atlanta" in Atlanta, Ga. The 1974 911 2.7S motor was remanufactured by Ollies machine shop in California and assembled professionally by a porsche certified technician at German Motor works in Tulsa, Ok.Additional mods include: 3.0 oil pump, oilers machined in the heads, upgraded oil check- valve, and carrerra chain tensioners. The engine has less than 2000 miles and is factory stock, including the original CIS fuel injection that is flawless. Tranaxle was also dis-assembled and inspected and shifts perfectly. 911Front suspension and brakes were installed with turbo tie rods. Wheels are 8x16 rear and 7x16 front. The idea was to build the car to be street legal and to be competitive on the track. It is a very fast car and easy to drive everyday. There are still a few issues to be corrected to operate on the street: tails lights aren't getting power, no horn installed, no e-brake. All other required safety items are operational and absolutely no mechanical issues exist. I am selling this car to clear a space in my garage for a new 911. I just don't have the time and I have actually lost the interest in having a track car. My loss is your gain. Please feel free to ask any questions that I may not have addressed. On Nov-27-10 at 07:42:59 PST, seller added the following information: Additional details: Rear shocks are Koni with competition springs. Front struts are bilstein with stiff competition torsion bars. Chassis stiffening kit was welded in to rear supports and shock towers to accommodate the heavier 6 cylinder engine. "SYSTEM ONE" remote oil filter and front mounted oil tank with stainless braided oil lines installed throughout. "MOMO" seats and 5 point harness hardmounted with roll cage. Complete "PATRICK MOTORSPORTS" shift system. Car is corner balanced to: 51/49 front to rear. Engine and gearbox alone was over $10k. Paint and body was over $7k. On Dec-07-10 at 11:52:32 PST, seller added the following information: Some more facts about the car: Fender flares are metal and were welded in place.I mentioned that the tail lights were not working however, the blinkers work, just the rear running lights are inop. I haven't had them checked-out so it could be a fuse or the bulb. I would consider trade or partial trade.
