Vehicle Detail
Up for sale we have a 1967 Galaxie 500 Fastback. VIN # 7N55G100381 BODY: 633 COLOR: 4 TRIM: 6A DATE: 2911 D.S.O: 17 AXLE: 6 TRANS: X....That is all the info off of the drivers side door tag. This is a project car, and does not run currently! I purchased the car locally 3 years ago with the intent of restoring it to it's original splendor!!! I got married had kids and you know the rest! I have no time to work on it and give it the perfect restoration it deserves! Buyer will need to trailer car home because the car is not running currently. I got it running shortly after I purchased it, and it had no knocks or pings or anything....but as of recent I haven't tried it, the carb might need to be cleaned out, not sure at this point! I also have all those really hard to find parts to go with it, totalling around $1800.00 (not including the original purchase price of the car!) It took me 2 years of searching E-bay, swap meets and such to find most of the parts, as this is a one year body style car it is really hard to find parts!!! (ie. All trim, Front Fender, Full Quarter, Grill, Tail Lights...too much to list!!!) The car is straight, some spots of rust here and there but nothing that can not be fixed, the trunk floor (where the spare tire was) is the worst spot out of the whole car, you can get a full trunk floor for around $600.00 I've seen them on E-bay!!! The motor that is in it right now is a 460 Block with an automatic transmission on the column...it was in there when I bought it. Originally it came with a 390 motor which the old owner took out, no clue why??? All glass is in exceptional shape! Like I said there are a few spots on the body that need to be fixed, but all around it's in great shape, it's a PROJECT, and a good one for someone with the time to do it!!! There isn't many restored 1967 Galaxies out there...just needs a good home!!! You can E-mail me with any questions you may have, thank you and good luck!!!
