Options and Equipment This 2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4 is powered by a strong runnung 4.0L V6 engine paired with a nicely shifting automatic transmission. It comes well equipped with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power adjustable pedals, cruise control, air conditioning, alloy wheels, a nice set of tires, push button four wheel drive, leather seats, and a power driver's seat. Interior and Exterior Condion This 2004 Ford Explorer was owned my a contracting company since new and shared most of its life on construction sites. It appearance defintely show. It is finished in a silver metallic exterior, which shows its share of scratches and dings. There are numerous light scuffs and scrathes around the body. It was obviously involved in some sort of collision to the right passenger side at some point. The rear passenger side door has a large dent and does not open and close very well. Also, the right rear bumper and lower rear quarter panel shows some damage (see pictures). The interior shows alot of wear and tear as you could imagine being used by a construction contractor. We tried to clean the interior as best we could. the carpets have numerous stains, although there were mats covering some areas. The leather seats in the front show significant wear consisting of cracks and dirt. The rear seats are not quite as bad with only slight wear (see pictures). All of the door panels and dashboards show numerous scuffs and scratches escpecially the rear cargo area which has alot of stains, paint spills, and blemishes. This SUV does have a nice set of tires all the way around which show approximetely 80% tread life remaining. Mechanical Condition With 233,435 miles, this 2004 Ford Explorer shows its wear. However it does run and drive fairly well. In fact, we drove this vehicle 40+ miles from where we purchased it with no problems. The engine runs smoothly and the transmission seems to shift through all gear properly. I did not hear any overly loud noises while driving this explorer. We are selling this Vehicle AS IS with no warranties. It will be sold with a VA rejection sticker because of an Airbag light on and a few other minor repairs needed to pass inspection. We have a Clear VA title. Since this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, the highest bidder will win. Please do not bid unless you are a serious buyer and plan on owning this vehicle.
