Driving this beautiful convertible on a beautiful evening will take you back to a simpler era. It feels like driving a vintage car, but with all the possible modern conveniences. Heated seats keep the driver and passenger toasty-warm, even with the top down in chilly weather. Thunderbird's 3.9-Liter V8 produces 280 horsepower and 286 foot-pounds of torque, yet offers reasonable gas mileage. This is a true blast from the past and a tremendously enjoyable ride. Very low miles (~11,000). This is an extremely well cared for automobile. Stored indoors and washed and waxed regularly. We never drive this car in inclement weather. It has been our "special occasion only" vehicle. (Family reunions, Chistmas parade, summer Saturday nights at the local hamburger stand). This car has the Premium ($37,970) package which added heated seats and bright machined aluminum 16-spoke wheels. It also has the removable hardtop ($2500) option which was available for the Premium model with porthole windows that were a trademark on the 1956-57 Thunderbirds.
