Up for sale is a beautiful black on black on black 1987 BMW 325 convertible 5 speed manual. This car looks and runs great! The body is all original and very solid and the car has 168,000 miles on it. The previous owner claimed the engine was rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago, but had no paperwork to prove it. The car has new tires, timing belt, head gasket, head bolts, wiring harness, spark plugs, water pump, radiator hoses, timing sensor, emergency brake, and fuel sensor. Like most E30's this one too had a problem with the oil and the antifreeze mixing (that's why we replaced the head gasket). When we replaced the head gasket we didn't have the head planed and the problem showed itself again after being fine for a few weeks.We're selling this car due to a possible move and we wouldn't be taking it with us and don't have the time to replace the head gasket again, so our loss is your gain. If there were no issues with the engine, this car would most likely sell for around $4,500 or so, so if you know what you're doing you can get a real nice convertible for a great price. The costs of getting the head planed and a new head gasket would run about $300 and few hours labor if you did it yourself. The speakers are Infinity and sound great, the top has no tears and does not leak, and the interior is in decent shape. If you have any other questions please feel free to call or email me.
