An excellent and well maintained Mustang owned by a middle-aged women (1st owner) and then me (69 years and holding). I am the sort of careful Adult owner who garages/maintains/upgrades his cars. I just finished a 4,200 mile vacation to Key West Florida in this car and it ran perfectly at 70 MPH in Cruise while getting 29 to 31 MPG on mid-range gasoline. I did a full service (SS) at jiffylube before leaving, another one in Florida upon arriving and then again when I got back home. I was brought up to understand that the cheapest investment you can make in your engine-longevity is Clean Oil and Filter so...the frequency of oil changes might seem excessive but it works. I waxed it before departing and again when dI got back. The car has been garage kept all its life and the proof is in the gleam of the paint. This really is a well maintained example of a Ford. I do most of my parts/repairs at Sears because of the way they stand behind their warranties. I have a favorite Jiffy-Lube that I have used for 14 years, good people. The car has a brisk V6 that uses no oil, excellent oil pressure and great MPG. You can fly in to DIA and drive this one home (I would meet you there). The car has an automatic with over drive, 4-way power seat, cold air, leather insides, heated RWD, Mach1 sound system (6 speakers), POWER mirrors/steering/top/door locks/windows/brakes. Also has adj-wheel plus 4-wheel disc brakes. NEW in last 10 months:. frt.-struts/rear shocks/serpentine belt/brake-service/4-tires/alignment/Gold die-hard/plugs/etc. (all from Sears) and all their warrantly papers go with the car.All the fluids from the coolant/brake/differential/transmission have been changed by my favorite Jiffy Lube (receipts go with car), also included are the routine (every 2500 miles or less) SS standard serviicing receipts. So it seems that your projected Maint. cost for "wear" items would be minimal, and if you can find a Sears store then any warranty work would be covered as well. The only real negative is that the CD player recently swallowed a Reggae CD and now will no longer play, however the 12 FM station-presets work well and so do all the speakers so...still great soulnd.The car has a few small scratches in the paint (as one would expect in a 9 yer old car) but NO Dings could I find in the last waxing. So why sell such a nice car? Well as you can see from the pics I have a two car garage and 3 cars....keeping two convertibles makes little sense so I am listing the Mustang first, if it does not sell then I will list the Miata....somethins gotta go! Now buying a car over the airwaves can be nervous-making however: read my 225 reviews, 15 of em for cars sales, and note the comments like "an honest seller", "car was better than the ad" and "pleasure to work with" and so on. And then realize that Ebay will give you a list of mechanics that you can have come over and review the car (AT YOUR EXPENSE PLEASE). I believe it costs about $200. or so. So in the interests of keeping my 100% rating I would welcome your inspector. This would really be a great first car for your new driver (thrifty and not too fast) or a neat weekend toy. NOTE: my car has a clean carfax and qualifies for the $50,000.00 Ebay buyback as well. AND maybe it is time that you gave yourself a present? or someone near/dear to you? . .
