1995 BMW 540 Sport 6 speed very rare 1 of 200 made. This car is everything that a M5 is only it has a V8 instead of a 6 cylinder. Google it. This car has the m side mirrors, door sills, front and rear bumpers and side ground effects, electronic suspension, and seats. Also has dinan exhaust,air filter, and computer chip to bump horsepower up to 325. Runs and drives great, you would never know that it has 192k on it until you looked at the odometer. Originally came from washington dc area so no rust. Last year about 10k miles ago i had all new brakes front and rear installed, new lower ball joints and alignment, all fluids changed including antifreeze, trans, and rear diff. Intake gaskets and crankcase breather plate were also done. These cars are smooth, stop steer and accelerate perfectly. The perfect car for around town or long trips, gets 23 mpg highway. I have always used premium gas and synthetic oil in the engine. It has 18" bbs rims that fit this car perfectly, I think bmw should have put these rims on from the factory. I installed a jvc cd player that has different setting for illumination color so it matches the rest or the lights inside. There is some wear on the drivers seat edge, but all other seats in great condition. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere it has been very reliable for me and i hate to sell it, but i have 6 cars and just moved to town so some have to go. Thank you On Dec-05-10 at 10:20:22 PST, seller added the following information: I added some more pictures, just wanted to explain the one is a small rock chip on the windshield which has been like that since i bought the car and has never gotten any worse. Previous owner said that he had it filled and sealed so that it wouldnt spread and it hasn't. On Dec-10-10 at 17:40:37 PST, seller added the following information: I just had a cylinder leakdown and dry compression test done. All cylinders had 0% leakdown. I wasn't surprised, it starts and runs great. The compression was 150psi plus or minus 5psi. So the results show that the engine is in excellent mechanical condition and I hope this solves any concerns about it. Also i do have the original supplimental owners manual that came with the car for the sports package. This is a real 540 sport. I believe that it was a $7500.00 option.
