Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE.....HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!! This is a 1971 911 with a custom 2.9 liter twin plug, crankfire full race motor with fewer then 1000 miles. The car had been completely converted to a full race car with roll cage, lexan windows, racing seat and belts etc. The car has not ever been raced since being built! The setup of the car is as follows: Front Suspension- Koni struts and insterts, turbo tie rods, rack spacers, 21mm torsion bars, 22 mm sway bars with heim jointed drop links, carerra rotors, coll brake kit, wildwood calipers, cool carbon blue pads, triangulated strut brace, poly bushings. Rear Suspension- Koni shocks, 27 mm torsion bars, 22 mm sway bars, adjustable spring plates, stock brakes with cool carbon orange pads, poly bushings. Drivetrain: Built on an aluminum crankcase, originally the base for 901/05 2 liter. Serial number 907904 and was acquired from Ted Robinson at German Precision, had the oil bypass modification performed, spigots bored to 97mm and was machined for 930 oil squirters. The crank was polished, magnafluxed, balanced and verified as being standard dimensions. The connecting rods are totally rebuilt, magnafluxed, balanced and shortened .8mm. The oil pump is a later model, post 76 with large pressure section installed. Pistons are 93mm high compression custom spec JE , and were designed by Dave Jarvis of Jarvis Tech. He custom made the cylinders and hand fitted the pistons. Rings are from Total Seal. The cylinder heads are custom built, ports opened to 38mm and shaped/flowed by Julis Fontenot. German Precision surfaced the heads, performed the valve job, replaced the guides, chamfered the chambers, and set up the springs from Jarvis racing. Jarvis drilled and tapped the heads for a second plug. The cams are Jerry Woods GE60 regrinds. New rocker arms, hydraulic chain tensioner. The carbs are new Webber 44 IDA, sitting on a bored to match intake manifold to the intake ports by German Precision. K & N watershield air cleaners from PMO. New fuel pump and stainless lines. Ignition is 2 electromotive HPV 1 coil packs with Moroso 8mm spiral core wires, double relays etc. Richard Clewitt fabricated the crank pulley, sensor mount and distributor plug from 7000 series anodized aluminum. The exhaust is SSI stainless heat echangers with custom stainless and jet hot coated twin pipe sport muffler. The flywheel is billet steel lightened flywheel by Bremtek with new pressure plate, disc, throw out bearing and pilot bearings. John Forbes rebuilt the 901 transmission with shortened gears and billet intermediate plate. All new bushings in linkage and custom shifter. Cars runs and sounds super strong and is ready for final setup and race. Please call me with any other questions you may have. Feel free to send me a contact number if you wish to speak live.
