Hey...Wasn't this truck listed a few days ago-------YES! Some "guy" in California registered on ebay the day he chose to use the "Buy It Now" feature. He then promptly sent an email (a copy of the email is below) that has SCAM SCAM SCAM written all over it. I expect it on craigslist but now we have to deal with this on ebay? @#&*_$. Anyway, I have canceled that transaction and I am re-listing. Of course I have learned my lesson-People with less than 10 feedback will not be able to bid unless they contact me first. This truck has 50,000 original miles on its 6 cylinder flathead. It came from an estate. It has always been stored inside. Mechanicals: The truck runs, drives and stops (brakes could use some work.) The dump body operates. The Hi/Lo transmission shift works. The PTO works. Tires are in good shape and the rims are too. The family of the estate unhooked the gas tank because they did not want to run the truck with old gas-There is a temp “tank” hooked up. It has a new voltage regulator. I drove it home but now the 6 volt battery seems dead or it's the starter as I put the battery to a 6V 100Amp starter today, 12/5/10 and nothing.-I DROVE IT HOME TWO WEEKS AGO. The engine did not smoke and everything worked. Brakes stop the truck Interior: Is all there-Seat needs to be redone-All gauges are present, All levers work-including emergency break. The heater is there, the floor is solid. Exterior: Cab is solid-has some dents but overall in good condition for being 60 years old.. The passenger running board is loose. The driver side windshield, rear window, and door windows need to be replaced. The curved corner glass on the cab are in good condition. Lights need to be checked. The undercarriage is in very good condition. It was last registered 20 years ago and I do not have paperwork-However, I can put you in touch with the original family owners but I also called the DMV and they said I would just have to do a pencil etching of the VIN to register since it has not been on the road for so long. This vehicle is Sold AS IS. Starting bid is below scrap price as this vehicle weighs 14,500lbs. Payment due within 7 days, pick-up within 14 days from the end of the auction.
