However, it was shipped to our east coast property last season and has never seen a winter. This Scout II is stored in our garaged facility locally where it is run regularly and impeccably maintained. It is a 4x4 model with a rebuilt IH 304 V-8 gasoline engine and has a 4L Neutral 2H 4H transfer case with a 4-speed manual transmission. The body is straight and the truck runs and drives exceptionally well. The truck has new alternator, new radiator, new galvanized exhaust with magna-flow dual mufflers (sounds awesome), new optima battery, new clutch, new body bushings, new brakes, custom all-steel bumpers with tow kit, (5) new BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, (8) Rancho RS 5000 off-road shocks, custom reinforced steel roll bar, custom convertible soft-top, . New rear and front wheel cylinder, fresh tune-up and fluids change to entire vehicle! This Scout is about as close to original as you can get, with several minor modern updates. The vehicle was stripped to bare steel before receiving 7-coats of paint in its’ original color, matched with a fully reupholstered interior and new OEM lap seat belts. All knobs are restored originals and both windows roll up/down easily. All glass is good condition with new window and door seals. All emblems have been fully restored. Underbody has been rubberized undercoated. Windshield wiper motor works but the wipers will need to be engaged and adjusted as it was never driven in the rain or snow. All interior lights work. hazards, turns signals, high/low beams, horn and all gauges work - gas, speedometer (needs adjustment), oil temp, etc. All locks are in working condition. It does not have a radio, but it has been fully prepped for audio installation. This vehicle is real head turner, and you will be continuously praised by people everywhere you go.
