This auction is for a 2001 Dodge ram 2500 diesel with 4wd. This truck runs and drives great, I use it everyday daily to haul my kids around and my stuff. I do not need to sell it and if the reserve is not met I will keep it. The reason I am selling it is because I am interested in another home to purchase, with this payment out of the way I can be more comfortable. If truck doesnt hit the very low reserve, I will just keep it. The truck at the lowest KBB blue book is 11,340, my reserve is payoff which is below that. I just want my payoff from the vabk, what extra I get I will stick into a beater. Here is a little more detailed info on the truck, please read on for more info: Body: It does have some rust, scratches and dents in it. The passenger side had some primer spots on it when I bought, I squirted some blue paint on spots so it doesnt look so bad. The truck has a salvage title, meaning it was either hit, tree fell on or something, therefore it had bodywork and paint done to it at some time. Body work showing its age, I wasnt trying to make a fashion statement, I just wanted pulling power and room, this truck had it. Drivetrain: The engine is all original with 138000 miles on it and going up daily. In summer I averaged 22 mpg on highway, sometimes 24mpg with druise set at 56mph. But now its cold and winter I get about 18 with heater and defrost goin. The oil was just changed, 8 miles on it. The turbo was rebuilt with bigger blade. Has EDGE X programmer thing for 65 or 75hp. Cold air intake sucking it in, and 4inch leading to 5inch tip blowing it out. The tranny and transfer case rebuilt at 110,xxx miles, bigger valvebody put in tranny as well. Also has aftermarket lift pump and such. Starts up and goes great, sounds loud and tough. I had tranny fluid change 4 months ago and mechanic said fluid looks like new, and also noted the tranny was rebuilt something about a stamping on valvebody, so that was great to hear the owner I got it from was honest. Tires: The tires are NEW!! I had them put on at 133xxx miles, and they are wearing perfectly even. New rear brakes too. Interior: The interior for the age of truck is in great shape, no apparent rips or tears. Radio works when it wants to, A/C is cold, heat is hot. Everything works as it should except radio cuts out and sometimes in. Also has a chip in windshield. Exhaust: 4inch with 5inch exit. Sounds nice. When going down highway truck has little shimmy, I believe a wheel weight came off or tire out of balance, happens at 72mph and goes away at 78mph usually. Also on highway, can hear whistle of wind by weatherstrip door meet truck. Has setup in box for gooseneck, although never used. Has trailer brakes, worked great on Tuesday when I took truck on a 600 mile trip. No check engine lights on, nothing wrong with truck, just has a whistling at door on highway, little shimmy, and radio works when it wants to. Otherwise thats it, I drive it everyday and will take it anywhere like I just did and always have. Box also has a spray in bedliner. Front bumper cover has a rip and knotch cut out as it had a plow years back. Also the truck has traction bars, they were used when plowing, but never taken off, but can tell they are there when goin in slippery conditions or turning sharp. Also has a locking foldable tonneau cover, works awesome to kepp stuff dry and thieves out. The box above has it checked that it has power seat, it does not and I cannot remove that box TERMS> PLEASE READ> I do have a loan on truck, if reserve which is low is met payment must be made and cleared at bank to get release of lien .
