Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a beautiful 1969 VW Karmann Ghia coupe with custom pearl paint and stock 1500 cc engine. Complete ground up restoration performed by Earl Mann’s Bug Shop in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1993. All service provided on schedule since the 1993 restoration and complete maintenance records since the 1993 restoration are available. The car has been garaged since the restoration and it has a current registration and inspection sticker. The car has logged 54,641 miles since restoration. The odometer read 28,710 at the time of restoration and now currently reads 83,351 miles. One owner since the 1993 restoration. The body is nice with no rust but it is not a show car. It was a daily driver for many years and it has dings on the driver side tail light and the passenger side headlight. Also, there is a scratch over the passenger side rear wheel. Other small nicks and chips are also present. Please check photos to see major imperfections. The interior is in very nice condition with a working cassette stereo with auxiliary input (for iPod, etc.) although there are two small seam tears on the rear side of the two front seats (not in the seating area) as shown in the photos. There are some interior paint chips primarily on the driver’s side door. The car has a rare and currently working air conditioner although it has been unreliable lately. The speedometer light is burned out. The car is equipped with working supplemental heater blowers. I hate to sell it but lately it has become a garage queen and I need the space since I have recently downsized to a two car garage. Payment Requirements A $500.00 deposit is required from the winning bidder due electronically via Paypal within 48 hours of auction close. The balance is due within seven days and must be cash in person, Cashier’s Check certified from a major U. S. bank, or USPS money order. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping.
