Relisted due to non-paying bidder. I welcome any serious bidders to bid on my items but for those of you not sure if you can pay PLEASE don't bid. You just end up wasting my time and yours and I have better things to do. If you can't buy don't bid, period. Up for auction is my beloved GMC Envoy. This has been my trusty vehicle for the last 6 years and it has been great to me. I am the original owner and have taken very good care of this truck. I have taken it through the car wash on a weekly basis since it was new and that's why the frame has barely any rust on it even with the salted roads during winter! I travel a lot for work so I have amassed almost 229,000 miles in a relatively short period of time. Obviously the majority of the miles were driven on the highway. The transmission finally went recently and I do not want to spend the money to fix it. This would be an IDEAL vehicle for someone who has the know-how to install a new transmission or for someone who has an Envoy that was in an accident and is looking for a clean example to put the mechanicals in. With the exception of the failed transmission the vehicle is in amazing shape considering the mileage. The exterior is great except for a small dent in the lower part of the passenger side rear door. The rear bumper has a little bit of cracking paint but is otherwise great. The cracking paint is due to a very slight fender bender which occured in the parking lot of our local grocery store. This incident is showing up as a collision on the carfax but that is a huge overstatement. I never even had to have the car fixed after the "bump". The front bumper has a couple of areas where the paint was starting to chip so I put a bra on it. The bra is included in the sale. The windshield has a large crack in it and will need to be replaced. The tires are OK, they probably have about 30% life left. The spare has never been used and is as new. The engine runs great but the check engine light does come on intermittently. The BOSE stereo system still sounds fantastic and the 6-disk CD changer works perfectly. Since the vehicle does not drive it will need to be picked up with a tow truck or trailer. BUYER is responsible to pay for towing expense. I am pretty sure that if you have AAA you can get the truck towed for free. You would just have to register and insure the truck before they will tow it. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Winning bidder must pick up the truck within 30 days of the auction's close. On Nov-02-10 at 10:11:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received a number of questions regarding the accident showing up on the carfax so I would like to post an explanation: This incident occured in a parking lot at our local grocery store. The damage was so minor that i never even had the car fixed. The cracked paint that I described on the rear bumper cover is a result of that fender bender. An older woman and I backed into one another at 2 mph or so. The carfax says it was a collision but that is the overstatement of the year. Anyone bidding on the car is welcome to check it out for themselves. There is NO frame damage and the airbags have never been deployed. ALL the sheetmetal is original. Only the plastic bumper covers have ever been replaced and that is because I am particular and the car had had minor damage to the covers themselves NOT the actual bumpers. I don't really know what else i can say except that any damage to the vehicle EVER has only been cosmetic.
