Private original owner is selling a 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Wagon. This is the passenger van version of the Daimler Benz Sprinter that seats 12 passengers. This van comes standard with the Mercedes Benz 3-liter V-6 turbo diesel rated at 154 HP and 280 ft lbs of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic/manual transmission with slap shifter. Unladen fuel mileage has averaged in the 20-22 mpg range depending on driving conditions. The Sprinter van is rated for 5000 lbs towing with the included towing package and 5000 lbs cargo capacity. This van has been equipped with a Tekonsha Primus IQ electric brake controller, and used to tow a 3500 lb travel trailer. It is a daily driver used to take kids to school and haul off-road motorcycles using the factory tie-down points in the cabin, so mileage will accumulate from that depicted in photo daily. Van has normal wear and tear, including scrape on right sliding door, various dings on back door from gravel, and tear in left side interior liner (see photos). Local dealer (Larry H. Miller Dodge in Albuquerque) has performed oil changes and has repaired an auxiliary air conditioner rainwater leak chronic to these vans as documented in Daimler AG XENTRY service bulletin LI83.50-N-048689, under warranty. Original warranty is 3 years, 35,000 miles so time is running out. Tires were replaced at 28K miles. No one has ever smoked in this vehicle.Buyer will be responsible for shipping.
