1980 Scout II Rallye 76,189 actual miles V8 - 345 cid Vehicle is in restorable condition. The front floor pans are pretty spongy. The door sills are pretty rotten. The interior is in good shape. The body is ok with rust as shown in pictures. I got this from my uncle last winter, he hadn't drivin it in several years. (It was his daily driver until he got a new car) As far as I know, nothing major has ever been done to this truck. I'm sure there were never any mods done to the engine. After I received it last winter I changed the plugs and added a new battery and had it running very smooth. It shifted through all gears and 4 low and high worked good as well. A front brake line broke while I was driving it around the yard. I think the fuel pump may have went out because now it wont run on its own. It will start if you pour some gas down the carb. This truck will have to be winched onto a trailer. All in all this would be a great restoration project for someone with more know-how than myself.
