1948 GMC PD 4151 Silversides. I'm selling the vehicle for my son. These are very rare, highly sought after Deco Dreamliners. Would make a BEAUTIFUL motorhome conversion. We had a diesel shop mechanic start it for us about 4 yrs. ago. The 6-71 runs great. The body is pretty straight, and pretty rust free, as they are primarily constructed of aluminum. It's was last licensed in 1994, and resided in Fife, Wa., and I bought the bus after finding it at a mini-storage. I had intentions of building a motorhome out of it, but have never had the time or money. I sold it to my son a couple of year's back, as he's always admired it. But he's started a new business, and needs to sell the bus for those start up funds.My wife insists it would make a terrific traveling diner/kitchen business vehicle, as it's quite a conversation piece. Bus is sold as is, where is, with no warranty. Reserve is less than estimated scrap value.
