FOR SALE 1988 FORD F-150 4X4 XLT LARIAT, GREAT CONDITION!!!!! 1988 FORD F-150 4 x 4 XLT LARIAT is in great condition! The truck belongs to my son who got the truck as a present on his sixteenth birthday. He will be going away to college next fall. We are selling the truck to purchase a car for him to have for college. The truck was purchased from a friend who is a mechanic. He got the truck from his father when he passed away. He then rebuilt the motor and took great care of the truck. After we purchased the truck we made several repairs and upgrades. This truck has a little over 6,000 miles on the rebuilt engine and runs like a champ! It has been a very dependable vehicle for my son and has a strong engine and transmission. This 4 x 4 has a 6" skyjacker lift and BF Goodrich 35" 15.50. It drives and handles well. The four wheel drive is manually engaged and works great! The truck also has power windows/locks and cruise control. The passenger side power window switch doesn't work ($30.00 direct from Ford dealership). There is a small leak on the steering box but nothing serious (part is around $65.00 from Ford). Everything else is in great working condition. The interior is in excellent condition and has a new custom seat cover, sliding glass rear window, and new floor mats. The carpet is in fantastic condition as well as the headliner and dashboard. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles.
