No expense was spared using the finest parts which fit and enhance the performance of this vehicle. I am the second owner, and bought it from the original owner in Quinlan, Texas. It has never touched snow and has been covered and garaged it's entire life. It handles beautifully, and gets A LOT of attention on the road. Paint is the original production Dark Red with very few scratches and very minor road pebble dents and a few scrapes at the tail. Easily fixed if so desired. No Bondo or any other patchwork done ever. There is little to no rust present. Never repainted. Interior: This car is known for one of the coolest interiors of the time. 4 bucket seats all work great and look like brand new. New 22 piece all black carpet kit – perfect fit – trunk to pedals. Dash has a few cracks. Contact JP Restoration to restore the two gauges that do not work (speedometer & tach – estimated $500) advised. AM radio and antennae work fine. Glove box looks and works great. Center console, all interior lights, padded armrest and center box all work and look mint.Engine: Complete bumper to bumper restoration - from tailpipe to radiator. 60 days ago. It is an extensive list and was all done professionally. I have all receipts and paperwork to include compression testing, and block porosity tests (no cracks) at a reputable SF performance motor shop. This car is mechanically solid and sounds tight, tuned and moderately upgraded. Starts strong on one crank, zero smoke, very confident idle and quick rev response - tuned perfectly. Complete rebuild includes: Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 268/280, Keith Black pistons/rings, Edelbrock 750 Speed Demon Carb., Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold, New timing chain, heads reworked, oil pump, electric fuel pump, starter, alternator, coil, spark wires, Hooker 1 3/4 Midnight Ceramic Headers.All new wiring and testing done by Auto Electric here in Santa Cruz, CA. Complete transmission and clutch rebuild.New front end suspension - shocks, bushings, boots, etc... New rear air shocks. Complete brake rebuild - shoes, drums, all lines, and cables.New exhaust, Gas tank, sender, and lines. 4 new American Racing Muscle rims & 4 new BF Goodrich G Force tiresHeadlights rotate and work great (rare & proves it was well cared for).
