Here is a 1978 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck with CLEAR Kentucky Title. Was a project vehicle about 10 years ago that was never finished. Was repainted but paint has faded and has typical scratches. Will need to be repainted. Transmission is a XFM heavy duty, with installed shift kit, new torque converter and new clutch bands. Motor is a 351 Modified Big Block. Was completly rebuilt but timing chain was never set correctly. Overhaul of engine includes balanced crank shaft, all new rod and main bearings, new flat top pistons, piston rings and connecting rods, engine cylinders honed to remove any scratches and grooves, heads were milled, new valves installed along with new valve guide seals and all new engine gaskets and seals. Engine is in NON running condition, a tear down of the engine to correct the timing chain was started but never completed. Engine has less than 400 miles on rebuild. Interior is in dececent condition, will need a new seat(s) but floor and dash are in very good condition. The body itself is in excellent condition, other than needing to be repainted the body will require very little metal work.Truck is installed with body chrome very rare for this model, the chrome is also in very good condition with very little scuffs or scratches and is also all original. Wheels are in fair shape but will need tires due to it being parked for many years. Truck is perfect for someone looking to build a muscle truck or a suped-up everday driver if your willing to put in a little time. Addition - I've had some questions on the body's current condition so I'll go a little further into detail; front passanger side fender has a wave in the metal, will need to be smoothed out. On top of the bed are a few rust spots the size of a pencil eraser. Hopefully this helps clarify the body. Truck will need to be hauled on trailer. Buyer is responsible for transportation of vehicle.
