It is also equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, A/C and the original AM/FM Stereo. I am the third owner. It was owned by the original owner until she passed away in 2002. It was then sold to a family friend who was also up in years and did not drive much. It’s had less than 2000 Miles put on it in the last 8 years! It was bought new in Detroit when the original owners retired and then driven to Arizona in 1970. It comes with the owner’s manual, warranty book and disclaimer, and paperwork. This car is extremely clean and it has only 85,000 original miles. Motor and transmission are original. The Good This car has been garage kept for most of its life. It only been in Arizona since it was two months old. Within the last 2000 miles it has had over $1500.00 worth of work done. Receipts of all work done come with the car. The parts replaced are: high pressure power steering hose, tires, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter sending unit, the gas tank cleaned, spark plugs, ignition wires, carburetor rebuilt, valve cover gaskets, rebuilt distributor with all parts, new muffler. The drive train is tight and and it runs good. It passed its last emission test. The interior is nice. The glass is in great shape . It has 90% of its original paint. It’s 99% rust free and still has its bias ply spare in the trunk. The hidden headlights hold vacuum and work along with all the lights and horn. It also comes with its original keys. It has the rare AM/FM factory Stereo radio that works. Its AZ title is clear and lien free. Please note that the time stamp on the camera is wrong. These pictures were taken yesterday not 2008. The Bad This car has no rust except for a spot under the vinyl top on one side and a spot next to the fuel filler door(see photos). The floors and trunk are very clean. The fuel gauge stopped working. It happened once before and it was the ground wire. The air needs to be recharged so at this time it does not work. The dash has 2 cracks, one in the center and another tiny one, the front seat is split in multiple places along the seams. The carpet, door panels, headliner, back seat and package tray are in great shape with no rips or tears. The glass is in good shape with the exception of two small rock chips in the windshield. The car does have some body damage in the front and side and numerous small dents, dings and scratches in the original paint (see photos) due to the elderly owners deteriorating eye sight. One of the back up light lens is broken. The carburetor has a flat spot when you apply the gas off the line but runs smooth otherwise. It may need the accelerator pump diaphragm changed. which is under 10 dollars for the part and easy to fix. One of the radio speakers does not work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
