This is a 1972 Ford F100 SHORTBED Sport Custom. It has a 302 engine and a "3 on the tree" transmission. The motor runs good however a wrist pin has been tapping for 15 years per the previous original owner. The motor sounds solid and tight except for the tap and the transmission is good. The truck is in very good condition for its age. No major rust and a very solid straight body for the year. It is all original with the exception of the rear step bumper and sliding back glass. It is running and drivable however the steering mechanism needs attention. It is very hard to turn. It is probably the steering box or the king pins. I am not sure of the miles but I had to state something. The glass is a little cloudy. I drove the truck home when I bought it but would recommend taking it on a trailer. This is a great truck to restore. That was my plan however it looks like there's not going to be any money to do it with. I'm just trying to get my money back. Please feel free to ask questions.
