Up for auction is an Arizona car, a 99.9% rust free Edsel Corsair. This car runs and driver perfectly, it is a prime candidate for a complete restoration if thats what you want or drive it as is for years to come. The interior has been redone with non original fabrics and patterns but it looks good. The car was repainted at some point years ago and has fadeing on the hood and trunk lid areas. Every original piece of trim and molding is still on this car including the wheel covers. It has 4 new Coker bias ply wide whitewall tires and new custom bent dual exhaust. It has the 361ci V8 engine and 3 speed auto trans which shifts and drives fine. The only issues with the body are the passengers side front window is cracked and the car needs all of the door, window, and trunk lid gaskets replaced. The rubber is 51 years old and has some cracking. This car is an excellent cruiser, the only non stock items are the carb, which was replaced with a Holly aftermarket and the master cylinder. The original power brake booster went bad on the previous owner so he replaced it with a manual master cylinder. The car stops fine, just takes a little more effort with your leg.
