Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The item is a 2004 Honda CRF450R. It was made street legal in Ohio by the previous owner and currently holds a clear street legal title in the state of Iowa. When I bought the bike it was bone stock with the exception of a Baja Designs Lighting Kit. I bought the bike in May and tore the bike down and had the following powdercoated satin black; frame, swingarm, motor mounts, handlebar mounts, triple clamps, and chain guide. Next the motor was torn down to install a CRF’sonly wide ratio transmission. It is compare to the gears found in a crf450X but it slightly a wider ratio then found in the X. It enables the bike to handle hway speeds nicely and a much highly top end. With it’s current stock gearing the bike with top out at 90mph (gps verified) and cruise hway nicely. Gearing it up will easily see over 100. The motor had new gaskets and seals installed when reassembled. While apart the head had a Kimbleman intake value kit installed (holds up much better then stock) and the exhaust side was cleaned up. The values were then properly shimmed and the motor was reassembled. The cylinder, piston and all other internals were inspected while apart and all looked great! The chassis was reassembled and a +7oz Trailtech flywheel was installed along with their AC electrical kit. It has a stator, voltage regulator, small battery in the airbox, and all necessary wiring. While running the battery remains charged. For a headlight a Trailtech 70watt X2 was used, an Acebris tail/brake light with license plate light was installed on the rear fender (brake is activated with a pressure switch on the rear brake). The lights are controlled by a high/low/off switch that also has a kill switch on the handlebars. There is a key ignition switch mounted on the top triple tree and two keys included. Also there is a Trailtech Vector Computer installed that keeps track of temp, speed, mileage, and is a lap timer. There is a remote switch mounted on the handlebars that also controls the computer. This setup works great at night, on the trail, and in all conditions. The bike has renthal handlebars, Acebris supermoto plastics, a Clarke 4 gallon gas tank, and a kickstand. The front forks have new seals and the chain and sprockets are in great condition. The wheels are Excel 17’ wheels with Talon hubs. They are in great condition! The Tires are Dunlops and have tons of tread left. The rear is a 160 and the front is a 120. The brake has a Brembo 320mm rotor and a Braking caliper relocator bracket. The bike has a front tug strap and a rear tug strap that come in real handy. It’s a great setup and is a blast around town or on trails. The bike fires right up, runs great, rides great and will be a great bike for it’s next owner. The only issue I would fix on the bike is it’s due for some new grips, other than that, the brakes, suspension, transmission, motor, clutch all are great! The bodywork does have some scratches from woods riding but is only 2 months old. I’m selling the bike because I’m moving for a job. I wish I could keep the bike but it I can’t. The title is in my hand and clear and clean. The bike will come with a set of red plastics, stock tank, intake valves, transmission gears, Baja Designs lighting kit, and some misc stuff. I have a set of Dirt wheel and tires I’m willing to part with, just let me know and we can work something out. With shipping that’s up to the buyer, I’m willing to driver within 200 miles to meet the buyer at .50 a mile. I’m will to crate the bike for shipment for $50.00 to cover the materials. If you wish to have it shipped, I would recommend using uship.com. The bike is sold as is and the pictures show the condition of the bike. The odometer shows right around 150 miles which is accurate since the rebuild but isn’t the full mileage of the bike as it didn’t have an hour meter or speedo when I bought it. Feel free to call me at 515-230-9938 or email me at innovative-motorsports@hotmail.com with any questions. Thanks! Shawn There is a reserve of $2500 on the bike. If the bike sells below $3150, then the stock wheel with Michelin dirt tires, stock brake rotors will be on the bike instead of the Excel wheels/tire/front brake setup.
