Up for sale today is a 1990 Subaru Legacy Wagon in excellent running/driving condition with a clear Illinois title. We are selling our house and needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle for towing our junk :o). I priced it based on its book value and it's exceptional condition but it will likely sell for much less than its worth. The 2.2L boxer engine runs strong and if cared for can go 500,000 miles ( I've seen it happen first hand ). The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and has been serviced regularly. The wagon has had the following work performed by a Master ASE Automotive Technician within the last year as normal maintenance : 4 brand new tires, new pads and rotors on all 4 wheels, new right rear caliper, transmission service, complete tune up, coolant flush and new thermostat, O2 sensor, both front axles, regular oil changes and a new tow hitch that we use to tow our mower and golf cart. This vehicle has been driven on a daily basis and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has the following power options : Power windows, locks, mirrors and also cruise control. It has working A/C as well but needs to be charged each year due to a small leak somewhwhere. The only flaws in the exterior I could find is a little rust starting around the wheel wells which could be repaired easily by any body shop. It doesn't have any dents and the interior is in beautiful condition. It has tinted rear windows that knock down the glare while driving and makes it safer to put your items in it. It is a NON SMOKERS vehicle as well which I know is important to some people. This would make a great college student or second car for any family. The Auto Check indicates some type of damage but I have no way to verify this as I am not the original owner and the vehicle displays no sign of any damage and tracks fine down the road. The vehicle can be viewed by making an appointment via email thru ebay. Buyer will be responsible for bringing their own plates or other method of moving vehicle from premises. On Nov-07-10 at 18:45:20 PST, seller added the following information: After snap9025 placed a winning bid on my vehicle FOUR days ago on 11/3 they were allowed by ebay to remove their bid on 11/7 claiming they had "entered the wrong amount". After spending over an hour on the phone with ebay they are only sending the bidder a warning. My contention is that bidders are well aware of what amount they enter as it asks you to verify your entry. Bids should not be allowed to be removed after 24 hours out of fairness to the seller ! I have now lost 4 days of bidding with no consequence to the bidder, is this fair ?
