Please read before you bid! Up for auction is a non-running 1991 318IS, 5spd. Awesome to restore, track or part out. There is very little rust so I've decided to refrain from parting it out. The body and undercarriage are just in way too good of shape. Would not take much to restore this at all. PLASTIC BUMPERS, INTERIOR and LSD WOULD SELL FOR OVER 1K ALONE ON EBAY! The GOOD: interior is in excellent shape (needs a good cleaning), Sport seats with little wear on the drivers seat (see split in pic), passenger seat is perfect (needs cleaned), back seat is perfect, door cards (front and rear) are great, headliner is good, manual sunroof that still works, again car has very very little rot (none of the common rot in the trunk area), plastic bumpers have no cracks (front or rear), doors are rot free, 4.10 LSD, 2 basketweaves, 5spd tranny, no rot on the rear subframe, trailing arms, etc... Steering rack doesn't leak, shocks seem good, etc. Paint is still shiney in some areas and is dull in others but nothing a buffer wont take care (tested a sections and shine came back). Please see the pics of undercarriage and you'll see how rust free it is! The BAD: Doesn't run, previous owner thought it was a timing chain. I have not looked to verify this or not. Missing radiator, no exhaust, I was going to do a M52 swap so I didn't care. Front valence would need replaced or repaired ($98.00 here on ebay), dent on drivers rear quarter (looks like an easy repair to push it back out from in the trunk or rear door card), dent in hood that could be repaired easily but the dent may come back since the hoods are somewhat flimsy. Entire passenger side is perfect! I originally purchased this car to be a daily driver after I completed the work but the previous owner does not want to take the time to get a re-issued title so there is only a bill of sale.
