Vehicle Detail

Alfa Bonanza! Two Alfa bodies plus a huge lot of parts. Two GTV bodies: one 1969 in mostly rebuilt condition; and one 1968 step nose needing more work one rebuilt 2L engine (big valves, euro cams)one rebuilt transmissionthree transmissions total2.75 sets of wheels3.75 sets of glass3 steering boxesNOS SuperSprint exhaustflying buttress seatsearly bucket seats2 1750 dashboards1 early dashboard3 gas tanks1.5 sets of bumpersMarchal cateye headlightsmisc headlights new center grill (1969)2 sets of gaugessome new chromenearly complete rubber seal set (new)3 new floor pans (Alfaholics)2 good radiators new correct rockers (Alfaholics) excellent condition original black door panels, rear interior quarter panels, and interior wheel well coverssome brown 1968 trim tons of trim Just too much to try to list it all. Essentially this is a rough condition (in pieces, but complete minus engine) 1968 Giulia Sprint GTV and a very clean (but needs floors--included) 1969 chassis accompanied by parts from 2 1969 1750 GTV parts cars and a number of other pieces acquired as part of the project. There is enough here to build at least one nice car, and possibly two if you wanted to do a complete lower body build on the 1968 and acquire some odds and ends. The paint on the 1969 was done just before I bought it and is brand new. It is not a Pebble Beach class paint job, but it looks good. The color is Yellow Ochre (Giallo Ocra). I don't think you'll need to do any paint work on the exterior of the 1969. I was not planning to. The 1968 is in its original (partly repainted in the 80's) Moss Green. The 1968 was originally German market and lived in Ohio for some time and needs a complete rocker job and a new driver's floor. I began the rocker job and the inner and middle rockers are done on the passenger side. The 1969 has lived in the Pacific Northwest for its whole life and is largely rust free. I purchased it from someone who had paid to have most of the exterior body work done, but the floors still need work. I cut and fitted a correct replacement driver's side floor but it is not welded in. The other two correct, stamped pans (from Alfaholics in the UK) for the rear of the 1969 are included. There is a bit of work to be done on the front cross member (under the radiator) welding. Many More Pictures with Details!! Notable missing pieces include: the side grill mesh for the 1969, the carbs (SPICA manifold and Shankle conversion kit are included), one rear bumper, vent window rubber, lower back seat for the 1968, carpet, 1 drive shaft. There may be other small pieces but those are the ones that I know of. Buy all this and make a nice car, or keep the parts you want and sell the rest at a profit. I need to get rid of everything I have and I don't want to have to sell it off piece by piece. I'm happy to answer any questions and to email further pictures as needed. If you are in driving distance, and are seriously interested we can arrange for you to see the cars and parts in person. Of course, I'm willing to work out logistics with whoever buys it as I know it's a lot to deal with. These were my projects and a cross-country move and then major changes at home (2 kids now) have prevented me from capitalizing on my investment in time and money. Both cars are in transportable, rolling condition with new tires. The 1968 has all the glass intact whereas the 1969 has no glass in it at the moment (it is crated) but I brought it down from up North of Seattle 4 years ago without glass and it was fine on the road. I want you to be happy with your purchase and I'll do everything I can to explain, detail and document whatever you need to be sure you are getting what you are paying for. If you have questions or need photos, you must ask for them before bidding. All bids are final and binding. But please, don't hesitate to ask if you are seriously interested, I will do everything I can to help. Transport, Payment: You will need to transport all of the parts and both cars. I'm happy to help load parts and I may be able to get a friend or two to help as well. If you have a commercial shipper that you want to have transport this stuff be aware that there is a crate of glass that is about 3.5 feet tall by 4 feet by 2 feet as well as about 7-8 large Rubbermaid containers of parts. I need to have all of this stuff out of my possession within 3 weeks of the end of the auction. There might some flexibility in that, but that's the general timeframe. You will need to pay a $500 deposit via PayPal at the end of the auction. Payment must be received within 7 days. I accept bank cashier's checks, but be aware that I must be able to validate the check with your bank by phone. Most banks are willing to do this, but you'll want to make sure.
