Vehicle Detail
History: Second owner. Maintenance has always been kept on this car. The engine runs very well. The car has never been involved in an accident. I have had the clutch replaced approx. 16k miles ago. The fuel system and injectors were completely rebuild and cleaned approx. 20k miles ago as well. Exterior Condition: Overall good condition. A few scratches on the rear bumper and two small dents on the hood. Interior Condition: Interior is in fair shape. A few marks on the seats and the carpet needs cleaning. The A/C needs a charge. Other than that it has no known mechanical issues. Features: The car is equipped with new Goodyear tires (within the last 2 years,) which have less than 6k miles on them. They are valued at approx. $900 and considered some of the best in this size tire. I also have had installed a Clifford Matrix 3.5 alarm. This alarm is also considered one of the best. The alarm is programmed for vibration and door sensors, door unlock and lock, it also has a 2-way remote. The remote will show the user exactly what has set off the alarm and wether or not it was a full alarm or just a warning "chirp." It is also capable of being wired for remote start. However, in KY at the time it was illegal for manual trans. cars. Now they offer a solution to this that is legal. It is also able to be programmed with 3 other features should it be desired. I also have installed a CD/DVD touch screen player in the dash (Valued at around $300.00.) It also has a moon roof. I also have replaced the original speakers in the back with some nice Pioneer ones. This car gets anywhere from 38-42 MPG HW and around 30-35 MPG city. It is great on gas milage! This car will be available for local pick-up only. You must be legally able to transfer this title to your name in the State which you live in. If you are required to have insurance or a valid drivers license to make the transfer this will be required. I expect a deposit of $500 on the car to hold it for you. The down payment may be made via Paypal. Final payment will be expected to be cash upon pickup of the car. You will receive a receipt for all payments. We will also need to arrange a time and place to transfer the title (This can be done in the presence of a Notary Public if needed.)On Oct-30-10 at 12:39:11 PDT, seller added the following information: History: Second owner. The fuel system and injectors were completely rebuild and cleaned approx. 20k miles ago as well. I just recently replaced the engine temp sensor, cleaned up the interior as best as time would allow, checked up on all the fluids and replaced the window drive motor and glass on the drivers side. (Some jerk broke into it about a year ago at my work only to steal about 20 bucks worth in CDs. Cost me over $200 dollars in the end and I even did all the work myself. Oh well. Its a happy car now. =) Exterior Condition: Overall good condition. A few scratches on the rear bumper and two small dents on the hood. Interior Condition: Interior is in fair shape. Anyone wishing to view the car in person feel free to send me a message. Its always difficult to describe a vehicle fully. I want the winner to be pleased with their purchase and encourage you to view the car if interested. I'm trying hard to describe the car as best I can. Nothing beats seeing an item in person for your own personal opinion and I have no problem riding along as you take it around the block. I personally would want to see a vehicle and take it for a quick spin myself so I encourage anyone interested to do the same. I've been happy with it over the years and just need to sell it before I move. I want it to go to a good owner who will be pleased with it. Its not perfect. It is 14 years old. I feel it to be a good car and in good shape considering age and miles. That's partly why I put it up starting at $800 the other reason is so I can sell it before I move. I don't want you to feel screwed and I'm not out to screw anyone. Ask me any questions you have and I will provide a timely response. Have fun bidding! =)On Oct-30-10 at 12:56:30 PDT, seller added the following information: A note for above changes. I didn't know it adds the info below it. Sorry if it gets confusing. I made a little note here to point out changes in case you miss any of it. A few people asked me what I meant by marks. So I wanted to make sure I had cigarette burns in there as I had forgotten and thus asked so now its added. =) Also added a few more history tidbits for more detail. Not sure how interesting a temp sensor or a new window and motor are in the drivers side but I guess it is nice info to have. If I think of more I will add it. I also added my last paragraph about seeing the car or driving it around the neighborhood. I was asked if someone can see it and of course yes! =) I want you to be happy with the purchase. Thus why I try to clarify on things, add them as they come to me and answer questions quickly. I also wanted everyone to know the original shift knob and original radio will be included if so desired. On Nov-02-10 at 03:16:29 PDT, seller added the following information: A few things to note about the title transfer... KY government is very particular about insurance on a vehicle. If you have any questions about this I would ask that anyone interested contact any of the county clerks offices. You may find information at the website listed below this update. They have listed the times of operation and also state that a vehicle must be registered within 15 days of purchase. Currently, this vehicle registration and title are in my name and in good standing. However, granted the fact that I am moving just before Thanksgiving, I need to know this vehicle has been transferred and all required paperwork be taken care of before that time. The winner will have 3 days to make a deposit on the car as per the auction. Arrangements should be made with me by the buyer to meet at the clerks office to transfer the title. Full payment will be due before or at the time of transfer. This should be able to be arranged within 7 days of auction close. Anyone out of the state may be required by their state laws to have the vehicle safety and operation features (ie; turn signals, horn, brake lights, etc.) inspected by their respective DMV/local Sheriff. After having been viewed the other day by a potential bidder, and this being pointed out, I should note I believe the moon roof switch is out. I didn't open it this summer and wasn't aware of it until the other day. Please keep this in mind. Everything else about it worked just fine last year and it also has never had a leak. It is possible it could be the fuse. I just wanted to update with this info for any of the bidders. Also, just for more info. The car has a "donut" spare tire not a full size. I have also recently replaced the spark plugs and engine coolant as well. I use only Champion band spark plugs in my vehicles. The car also has only ever been ran with Penzoil or Valvoline motor oils. I won't use anything else. After years of working on engines and carbs I have found them to be the cleanest and best standard consumer brand oils on the market. I also highly recommend the new owner only use conventional motor oil. Synthetic and "High-Milage" oils have cleaners, are thinner, and generally have a lower life than a conventional. Cleaners can damage a cars' engine and thinner oils in older vehicles can damage seals and cause them to leak. Just my suggestions for the new owner as I would enjoy knowing this car will last if well taken care of. If anyone should have any more questions please let me know and I will try to answer them asap. On Nov-02-10 at 03:33:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Do keep in mind also that the buyer is responsible for all fees related to transfer of the vehicle. This includes sales tax to be paid to the Local or State government at the time of transfer, registration, insurance and any other normal related costs during transfer of a vehicle.
