hate to let this one go, but just had a baby! this bike will get you anywhere you want to go and do it in style. it's a real clean cb500. clubman bars with internal wiring, comfortable riding position. i've road alot of different bikes but had never been on a cb500. man, this thing will straight haul a$$ if you open her all the way! two up jetting on the four carbs(done by previous owner) kick and electric start(electric start is the momentary toggle switch in the headlight housing) starts right up EVERYTIME. led rear tailight-super bright lucas style. fiberglass seat pan hand formed to the frame, fits perfect. new paint, shines great with norton style striping (wide black, narrow red) matched set of bridgestone spitfires that can't be more than a few seasons old, still have the nubs on them. four into one MAC exhaust with header wrap for performance. i didn't like how loud it was at high speeds without a baffle so i chopped up an old FLH cigar type muffler and slipped it right in. it's very easily removed but i believe it actually made the bike faster with it in. this bike has made several hundred mile trips with no problems. if you want to eat up r1's and do 10 sec. quarters, this is not the bike for you. if you want a reliable vintage racer with controllable power, this IS the bike for you. i put the mini guages on the bike about 50 miles ago, factory guages have been on the bike previously, i will include those guages. this is a GREAT bike that needs nothing but a rider!! there is no warranty expressed or implied in this auction. i.e. NO buyers remorse bike is sold as is where is. will help with shipping if neccessary, will answer questions as promptly as possible (consider the family, i don't live on this computer) bike is for sale locally, reserve the right to end the auction at anytime, for any reason. please don't bid without intent. please don't waste everyones time. you people know who you are! upon request, will give cell number.On Oct-27-10 at 06:49:28 PDT, seller added the following information: i checked the title last night and this is a cb550.....five fifty.....not a five hundred.
