Up for auction is a 1992 Dodge Ram 250 Diesel. I bought the truck back in 2003 and used as my work truck back and forth to some construction jobs I was doing. The truck back then was already experiencing much rust in the rocker panels and they are shot. The passenger electric window is not working and I haven't tried to fix it lately. We have been using the truck as our local errand and trash mobile to the transfer station. The truck body is rusting especially the roof. The driver's side bed of the truck has been hit and is dented from that accident. The truck also was pulling our trailer and the trailer got rear ended causeing damage to the trailer hitch and bumper which I replaced. The truck also got hit in the rear quarter panel rear end by a van when it was parked. The truck is 2 and 0 agains opponents and it never made sense to fix any body damage because of the extent of rust. The truck does have a pretty good snow plow which we used to plow our shop parking lot. The injector pump went out about 3 years ago and I bought a brand new Dodge Factory Injector Pump and have the paperwork indicating it so this is a plus if you are a parts guy. The truck actually runs pretty well still but the rusty rocker panels are make the doors pop open so I did not try to ask our local service station to pass it for inspection this spring. The truck really should be considered more for parts unless you are good enough to put a cab and bed on it. The engine takes a little time to smooth out on cold mornings but always seems to start.
