Check out my other items! Up for auction, 1968 GMC (great mountain climber) 3/4 ton 4X4. This truck was restored 8 years ago with lots of new parts. The truck was driven off and on for a couple of years with only a little 2,000 miles being put on it. Then the truck was stored inside for 6 years and never moved til recently when we decided to sell it. We were able to get the truck running again without any problems. We drove it on the road about 3 miles to the exhaust shop and had a new flowmaster exhaust installed. We noticed that the truck has a little miss in it. It still has the old gas in it that it was parked with and could probably use a tune up to get the miss out. We also noticed that the truck is leaking oil from around the oil pan and needs fixed. Other than that, everything else seems ok. The truck was completely taken apart during restoration and tons of new parts were bolted on. The inside of the bed was boxed for a smooth look. The front end was taken apart. The doors taken off. The truck has a 350 engine with standard bore and forged flat top pistons with X rods. Everything was balanced. The heads have 194 valves with new guides and Comp cam and springs with roller tip rockers. New clutch kit. New leaf springs. New brakes. Paint is silver urethane. Paint has a couple of flaws around the original gas cap location. The other flaw is on the left hand bed side-not bad and hardly noticeable. Truck has 456 gears. Dana 44 up front. Dana 60 in the rear. Tires are half tread or better. More pictures available upon request. (Pictures of the underneath and fancy pinstriped work) Listed below is a list of new items.
