I have had this TR6 for about three years. I need space in my garage for new toys. I have driven it about 5000 miles and this car is turn key and go. It was restored between 1998 and 2002. I have all the books and records. Two previous owners have made this car superb, inside and out. New door panels and carpets and seats. New suspension parts, engine overhaul, and everything. I have had little to do myself other than maintenance, except I did need to have some rear end work done to fix a seal leak. I take it to shows occasionally, but really it's simply a blast a drive. All guages and lights work. An interior light does not appear to be hooked up. Right now it could do with an oil change and tune up. Ask questions. Check out the pictures. The car has no rust. The chrome is good but the rear center bumper has some minor pitting. One tiny chip in the windshield. A couple of minor dings not really visible unless you look. Clean and well cared for as you can see. The top is nice and tight and seems fairly new. I almost never have the top UP of course! Oh...please note: the ODOMETER SHOWS ABOUT 31,500 MILES. THAT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL MILEAGE. I WAS INFORMED AND BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE MILES DRIVEN SINCE THE BODY WAS RESTORED. THE ENGINE RESTORE WAS DONE LATER AROUND 24,000 ON THIS ODOMETER, FROM WHAT I COULD GSATHER FROM THE BOOKS AND RECORDS WHICH COME WITH THE CAR.On Oct-26-10 at 08:13:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, given some local questions I've been asked off ebay, I think it prudent to point out: if you want a "MUSEUM PIECE," this is NOT your car. ILLINOIS IS FLAT DEAD BROKE AND NO. 50 OF 50 STATES FOR NUMBER OF STATE WORKERS PER CAPITA....I HOPE I FIND IT. I DO OWN THE CAR OUTRIGHT; I JUST CANNOT FIND THE TITLE.
