Up for auction is my Laser Blue V70 R. I beleive this is one of approximately 25 imported into North America in 2000. This car is a blast to drive with the beefier turbo. I always get compliments from young and old folks on how clean it is. My reason for selling is I have to many too many project vehicles and two other R's so something has to go. I have also run out of garage space for this car and it has been off the road for two years now. I went through the rebuilding process of this vehicle at around 115 - 125,000 miles using all Volvo OEM parts and fluids. A major service was performed with timing belt, tensioners, idler pulley, thermostat, serpentine belt, spark plugs, engine & a/c cabin filter, water pump, coolant flushed, brake fluid flushed, transmission fluid flushed, bevel gear fluid replaced, front & rear differential fluids, front differential seal, catalytic converter, front & rear oxygen sensors, air conditioning evaporator, battery, and abs control module. I am sure something is left out. All work done by a Volvo dealer up north or an independent here in Florida. Oil changed every 5,000 miles. I am proactive with my vehicles and don't wait for things to break. I like to have the vehicle ready for unexpected road-trips. The wheels were removed and used on my S70, looks great. The car will need a new set of tires and an oil change, it has been two years. There is a set of BBS wheels with close to new Michelin tires on there right now which can be left on there for the buyer on a possible trade. I will not sell vehicle with two sets of wheels. The vehicle will not come with the updated headlamps and grill. The tow hitch has also been removed. The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts flawlessly. There are no abnormal drivetrain noises when making u-turns from either direction. the all wheel drive system works as designed. I love the growl this car makes from accelerating from a dead stop. The exterior shows beautifully like a 4 year old car. There is a barely noticeable tiny dime size ding below the drivers side door molding, unable to display in pictures. There is also a couple of hairline scratches on the lower right side corner of the front bumper, barely noticeable depending on light. The interior is extremely clean with no funny odors or stains. There are no cracks or tears in the leather. The car has all options including dolby surround sound, child boosters seats, homelink, and rear cargo cover does not retract. Vehicle is not equipped with third row seat. The car comes with the full set of owners manuals, two keys & two remotes, and touch-up paint. Iwill provide the valet key if I find it. I would love to see this go to another Volvo enthusiast like myself. If you are looking for a reliable, exiting to drive, or attention getting car then this is the one.
