Up for sale my 1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt Sl. I have owned this car since February 2007 purchased off of ebay. The vehicle was sold without a transmission, and was off the road until the following year February when I purchased a transmission through a buyer selling from junkyards. The car has been serviced every 3000 miles by myself, I am a technician for a local Toyota dealership and have kept service records that will be sent upon request. The car was put off the road in May 2010 and was sitting in the lot at my job. The vehicle ran in August 2010 to get to my house 16 miles from my job. I purchased the vehicle with a 2.5 inch Borla stainless steel cat back exhaust, still in good condition. A DNP stainless-steel ram-air intake was included by the previous owner and installed by myself. The 60k with Kevlar timing belt, OEM idler and tesioner pully, Denso Iridium tipped spark plugs was completed in August 2008 at 130478 not knowing if the previous owner had completed the 60k service. A new PCV valve and Fram Air Filter were installed May 2009. In July 09 the front rotors were resurfaced, rear rotors replaced with Stillen performance cross-drilled rotors, new Hawk HPS brake pads front and rear, and 3sx stainless-steel braided brake lines front and rear were installed. Parts that I have including new OEM rear droter shoes, and a new rear bank valve cover gasket, and spark plug gaskets will be included in the sale of the vehicle uninstalled. The vehicle was taken off the road with the purchase of another vehicle, and I was not able to keep both on the road at the same time. The vehicle itself is in need of work, the transmission does not have first gear, syncros and dogteeth are gone, but these parts can be purchased off 3sx.com, the site where most of the parts put on the vehicle are from. Due to the need of starting out in 2nd gear the clutch is starting to slip. The Radiator is leaking and will need to be replaced. Front head lights have stayed up since driving the vehicle home in Aug., I have not been able to look into the issue since I am at school now. Due to sitting at my job the rear e-brake shoes have stuck, but are able to be fixed. The vehicle is being sold as-is. Local pick-up only. Great fixer upper car or parts car.
