Please read full ad before you bid, I am honest in my descriptions and I expect the same from a buyer NO RESERVE AUCTION!! HIGH BIDDER GET IT!!! This is a very nice FJ 55. It has had a ton of work done and I hope I can cover it all, and do it justice. First off, I have only done a few minor things to this Most of the work was done by the previous owner. He did a great job and knew what he was doing. I my self am a life time mechanic and this restoration seem to be done well. It has a chevy 350 motor in it. I was told it came out of a 66 chevelle. The motor ran fine, but had the cylinders honed, new rings, and new bearings and a RV cam installed. It had the heads completly rebuild. I was told this was 10 thousand miles ago. It may have had more done but that is what I know for sure. The owner did not use it much only a few times a rear. It came from california so it is not as rusted out as the ones around here. The truck has power front seats that move back and recline and work. It has a head liner and door panels and newer rubber matt on the floors. The rear seat was redone. It has Auto meter tack that has been installed in the dash and looks almost factory. It hs a grant steering wheel. and a nice CD player with 6x9 speakers in the doors. The rear window is still goes up and down and is controlled by a switch on the dash, yep it is power. The front seats have seat covers and 6 point seat belts, the good ones!! not the cheap ones. The paint is farly new and it is decent, it is not show quality but looks good. It has diamond plate in black( expensive )covering the lower rocker panels. Tinted rear windows. Disk break conversion in the front, The transition is a low miles used trans three speed toyoda trans and toyoda transfer case. It has warn hubs on the front. The horn, wipers and the blinkers all work. Has a manual choke that works. A lot of time and thousands of dallors have been put into this 55 to get it to this point. Things I have notice worth mentioning. It has a few small spots where it has some surface rust starting. It also two spots of rust in the rear under the rear lights. The carb runs good but has a small leak out of the accelerator pump, comes with a full carb rebuild kit from holly. At some point one of the valve covers was leaking and gunked up the motor a little. Seems to have been fixe and is not leaking now. The front drive line was never re installed after the 350 conversion. The 4 wheel drive worked fine before the drive line was taken off and I have personally shifted the transfer case and it works fine. The back two tires have some side wall cracks from sitting, Lucky it comes with two full spares. I was told first gear in these does not have sincros so you have to double clutch it or almost come to a stopt then it shifts in smooth. other wise it will grind a little bit. I feel this truck could be driven anywhere so you can fly in if you choose and drive it home. I can pick you up from the salt lake air port for free. Exstra stuff. It comes with two full size spare tires, a carb rebuild kit ( carb works and runs fine now just leaks a tinny bit out of the exelarator pump). Has the roof rack. The fj55 comes with a clean title that is signed off and ready for new owner. It will take me an extra step and some paper work, but I can put the title in my buisness name, if I do I then have to charge a fee of 250.00 documtiantion fee and I must get a state inspection and IM done costing is anouther 40 dallors. total woudl be 290.00 I will leave it up to the winning bidder. Again please do not bid unless you want the vehical It cost me money to list them. I belive some one will be way happy to get this very nice truck.
