Here is a very nice 1989 BMW M3 up for grabs. I purchased the car 5 or 6 years ago from the last meticulous owner and have striven to keep her impeccable. The Alpine White finish is without flaw: no chips, no scrapes, nothing but a show-quality finish. The Beige Leather interior is beginning to show some drivers' bolster wear but otherwise like-new; the dash and other black interior components show no faded areas,as a car always garaged should appear. The M3 is primarily in stock configuration with the exception of the suspension, which was updated with H&R sport springs, Ireland Engineering 25mm Front/ 22mm rear swaybars, Bilstein sport struts and shocks, and new bushings and mounts and reinforcements. The engine was freshened up about 10k miles ago; rings, valve job, oil pan baffle, performance cam gears, chains, and water pump. The stereo is an Alpine unit w/ MP3 capabilities through a factory expanded sound system. The Dunlop tires have just a couple hundred miles on them, so this would simply be a wonderful car to just drive home. The M3 came with the normal stuff: sunroof, power windows and locks, cruise control, and A/C ( which needs a compressor remounted and condenser, was planning update for r134a, but never finished). I should also mention I have most of the original parts that were updated, if someone feels the need to go entirely factory. The car starts and drives spectacularly, truly a joy to spend time with; but since I have only been putting a couple hundred miles a year on her it is time to go.
