1966 Ford Fairlane 500 droptop :car runs and drives real nice.not a show car,very nice daily driver.it has a 289 motor with 4 speed it came with 3 on the tree,the other on owner changed it to the 4 speed that is in now.we go to meets in it running down the hiway at steady70mph and will still past other if needed to.the body is real nice as well as the top.motor has a highrise intake with 600 holley,long tub headers(hookers) super44 flowmasters.nice little cam sounds good.new tires and wheels.has tags/inspect.till 07/ 11top works very nice going up or down no tears windows all good on car. no A/C, power breaks,or power streering.easy streering and stopping.seats in nice shape no tears. front bummper has been redone already rear could use redoing it is in good shape now but would look like front then.On Oct-18-10 at 16:11:55 PDT, seller added the following information: 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 drop top Car runs and drives real nice, although it is not a show car. Would make a very nice daily driver. It has a 289 motor with 4 speed. It came with 3 on the tree, but the previous owner changed it to the 4 speed that is in now. Motor has a high rise intake with 600 holley, long tub headers(hookers), super44 flowmasters. It has a nice little cam that sounds good. It also comes with new tires and wheels. It is tagged and inspected until 07/11. We go to meets in it and running down the highway at a steady 70 mph, it drives as smooth as one of our newer cars. The body is very nice, as well as the top. Top works very nice going up or down no tears. Windows all good on car. No A/C, no power breaks and no power streering, but it is easy steering and stopping. The seats are in nice shape and have no tears. Front bumper has been redone, but the rear bumper could stand to be redone as well.
