SOLD WITH NO RESERVE Here 1974 BMW 2002 I am selling for a friend. It is Inca Orange and a nice driver. This car was repainted 10+ years ago by BMW in factory paint. This car has been a summer time daily driver for the last 10 years. Car has not been driven much this year because of new baby in the family. However it started right up and ran well after sitting all summer. It would be a good idea to have a tune up and check over but I would guess this will be as problem free for you as it has been for me. The car is not perfect. The odometer broke about 5 year ago I believe it to have about 80k miles on it. As most 70's BMW's were prone to rust in the rear this one is no different. As you can see in the trunk photo there is some rust starting on the left rear shock tower. This car hasn't been driven in the Midwestern winter in the last 10 years so the rust hasn't gotten worse. If you look underneath it has a little rust in one floor pan but mostly good. The brakes works great and motor runs strong. It has the weber carb conversion so it fun to drive and sport exhaust so it sounds great too. The interior is in great condition with no rips or tears in the seats. Dash is not cracked but does have Velcro on it for a cover. Could be cleaned up or run with the cover. The headliner has a couple of small tears. The only thing the interior needs is a good cleaning. Keep in mind this is a 36 year old European car. It will require a mechanical mind and more maintenance than your Focus or Civic. But you will look way cooler driving this.
