Listing is for my 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier. This car was running great until one day I was on the interstate and had to gun it past an 18-wheeler, and revved it too high. It didn't feel right after that and after driving it a little more and then investigating it, we found that there's a bit of a leak in the head gasket. It's leaking coolant internally and probably getting mixed with the oil. It has not been driven since then, and I'm selling it as is. I don't have the time or money to get it fixed right now, so i need to sell it asap. It has a clear title and overall is in good condition. The interior is quite nice, with typical cavalier cracks in the dash and door plastic. Everything works and is complete in the inside of the car. Even has a CD player. The exterior is in decent shape, with the exception of a few dents and scrapes on the passenger door. I let my sister borrow my car and sure enough, it is returned like that. Someone scraped the side of the door at Walmart (go figure!) and I just never got it fixed. The deductible wasn't worth it. The rest of the paint is good, however there are rock chips and paint chipping on the bumpers. Hood is also good except for the rock chips. There are surface scratches and swirls on the car but nothing too terrible. When the car is washed and clean, it looks really good. The wheels and tires are in excellent shape as well. Also has new brakes and suspension as of last fall. New spark plugs, air & fuel filters, and miscellaneous hoses have been replaced in the last year. Basically, the car is in great shape except for the head gasket. It may still be able to be driven, but that is something you can risk once you own the car. It will not be test driven and WILL need to be towed or hauled away. Please email me with any questions you have about the car. Car MUST be picked up within 3 days of the end of the auction.
