I bought this 1987 635csi off an older gentlemen in SC who garage kept it most of the time. This car is well maintained and drives incredibly well. When I bought it 2 1/2 years ago, I replaced the original wheels & tires, and front controls arms. Over the years, I have replaced the center and rear muffler with new OEM ones, new emblems, battery, front and rear cross drilled rotors, front and rear HP ceramic pads. I have the original book with the maintenance records filled out, the complete maintenance records from the second owner as well as mine. It still has the old AC and needs updated. The beige leather has NO cracks and is in great condition. This car still has the original tape deck radio and tool kit in rear of trunk. Both are immaculate. I had NC legal tint installed an those are in great shape. The dash is in great shape with no cracking. Everything works with the exception of 2 out of the 10 buttons on the driver seat. The body of the car is in good shape except a few cracks in the front spoiler and a very small ding and some weathering by the windshield. The odometer stopped working shortly after I bought the car. I have driven it lightly. There is approximately 120k miles. I still have original wheels and tires. However, original tires are not in good condition.
