Very well maintained, excellent condition 2008 MAZDA MAZDA3 Grand Touring S Edition, 5 SPEED MANUAL, 6CD BOSE Sound System, Upgraded wheels, Black Leather Interior, SUNROOF/MOONROOF and much more. You must see it to believe it, no really! 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 Overview Starting with the MAZDA3 s Sport and continuing through the MAZDA3 s Grand Touring trims, the standard powerplant is a 2.3L inline four-cylinder producing 156-horsepower. Small Car. Sporty Car. The MAZDA3 is a dichotomy on wheels. the MAZDA3 is sporty to drive, looks great inside and out, features excellent build quality and performs admirably given the small engines. Not many small cars on the market these days feature such a diverse set of qualities. Among the qualities -- albeit a questionable one -- is the mileage rating. Although the mileage of the MAZDA3 is not out of line with other cars in this segment, there are some competitors such as the 2008 Honda Civic that blow the MAZDA3 out of the water when it comes to fuel economy. Arguably, the MAZDA3 is more fun to drive than some of the competition and the available wagon layout is a nice benefit these days when people need "on the go" storage space, but the unimpressive mileage is a thorn in the side of the MAZDA3. Again, a dichotomy comes into play. Even with mileage figures that are surpassed by others in this segment, the starting MSRP of the MAZDA3 is low enough to put it in our top 10 cheapest cars list. That low price comes with some drawbacks. Namely some desirable features are not available or optional on the i trims. Most notable of these missing features includes some safety equipment that is standard or optional on the s trims, such as anti-lock brakes and side curtain airbags. Stability control is optional only on the s trims and not available at all on the i trims. Jumping up to the s trim is recommended -- the money will be well spent on additional safety and convenience features. The bottom line of the MAZDA3 is that if you are looking for a car that is sporty and fun to drive, but still retains all of the usability of a sedan or wagon -- and you are willing to put up with the quirks of a small car -- look no further than the MAZDA3 line. Owner satisfaction is quite good for the MAZDA3 and buyer's who know what they are in for will be in a good spot to get the most out of their new Mazda -- a sporty small car that blends small car limitations with the driving impressions of a more expensive car. Mazda MAZDA3 Safety Features Because the best safety equipment is not standard on the introductory trims, the MAZDA3's safety rating isn't as good as it could be. The wagon and the sedan both earned identical safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The MAZDA3 scored four stars (out of five) in driver and front passenger frontal crash testing, three-stars in front and rear seat side impact testing and four-stars in rollover testing. Standard safety equipment includes: • Collapsible steering column • Driver/front passenger advanced airbags (SRS)-inc: crash zone, drivers seat position, passenger weight sensors • Front seat belt pretensioners w/force limiters, height adjustable • 3-point seat belts for all positions • Child safety rear door locks • Rear seat child safety seat lower anchors & upper tethers (LATCH) • Crashable brake pedal • Front/rear side-impact door beams • Trunk entrapment release system • 5-mph bumpers • Single-type horn Via: TheCarConnection.com The 2008 Mazda 3 is aging gracefully; its sharp, sporty looks are still popular among buyers, and the hatchback is especially utilitarian.
